Meet Lori Owen

Hand of the Cook Commercial Kitchen is owned by Lori Owen, a lifelong Lubbock resident and proud Texas Tech alum. Lori started her career as a Certified Kitchen and Bath Designer designing residential and commercial kitchens throughout West Texas and the United States. In 2018 she decided to expand upon her passion for food and everything food related, and created Hand of the Cook Commercial Kitchen. Her vision was for a place where food entrepreneurs could spread out and create, network with like minded food enthusiasts, further their culinary dreams and have a little fun along the way.

Lori is available to help her clients grow their culinary businesses from simply offering a clean, well planned, permitted kitchen to actively helping with food costing, marketing, and business strategies.
